About.
HB AI Services is a solo practice — one senior AI engineer, working with operators across North America. I built this practice AI-native from the beginning: the tools I use to run it are the same tools I build for clients. I'm not theorising about AI from the outside.
Every engagement runs through me directly. The person who scopes the work is the person who builds it. There's no delivery bench, no account manager, no hand-off after the first call. That's not a constraint — it's the entire point.
The pattern I keep seeing: operations-heavy businesses lose more time to the work between systems than to the work inside any one of them. Intake that arrives at 7pm with no one to qualify it. Documents that take six weeks to chase down. Client updates that go silent because someone's in court. The AI work that matters is operational infrastructure — not a chatbot bolted onto a workflow that was already broken.

Every engagement is anchored to a written scope — defined deliverables, fixed timeline, signed acceptance criteria. We model the math before we ship the work. If the math doesn't work, we say so.

We don't ask teams to learn new tools. We embed inside the workflow you actually run — the CRM, the case system, the DMS, the ERP — wherever the work already happens. The system has to feel like a weight off, not a workflow change.
